SYDNEY: SUNDAY 4 FEBRUARY - SYDNEY COLLEGE OF THE ARTS (SCA), ROZELLE
Laneway Festival Sydney is being held on the traditional lands of the Wangal people and we wish to acknowledge them as Traditional Owners. We offer our respect to the Elders of these traditional lands – both past and present - and, through them, to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
We love our Sydney home at the SCA and Callan Park in Rozelle, with its age-old sandstone, natural amphitheatre and gorgeous heritage listed parklands. It’s a veritable inner-city oasis, and we’re lucky to have it.
Public transport is the best way to get to the festival as parking in the area is very limited. Sydney Buses Route 440, 444 and 445 services stop within walking distance of the festival.
Light Rail services run between Central and Dulwich Hill. The closest stop to the festival is Lilyfield. You can walk from Lilyfield station to the festival in around 15 minutes or catch a Sydney Buses Route 445 from the station to get closer to the entrance.
To help you get home, a free shuttle bus service will run between Balmain Road and Town Hall from 9pm until midnight. Plan your trip in advance using the Trip planner. You can also use one of the many real-time apps to track your service. For more transport information visit transportnsw.info or call 131 500.
There is strictly no parking available at Sydney College of the Arts and Callan Park.
There will also be special event clearways in place on sections of Balmain Road and Darling Street in Lilyfield and Rozelle from 2pm until midnight.
Special event clearways are no-parking zones, even for local residents with parking permits. They are put in place to cater for extra traffic in the area for special events. Check signs before parking as vehicles left in special event clearways will be towed and a towing fee applies.
We also ask that anyone who does drive the festival please be mindful of resident properties and do not park in front of people's drive ways.
The pick-up/drop- off point for private vehicles will be opposite the entrance gate on the eastern side of Balmain Road, north of Cecily Street.
Ride your bike to Laneway! Sydney Laneway will have bike parking available all day, which will be absolutely FREE! Please remember to bring your own lock as the bike parking area will not have dedicated staff.
Drug Detection Dogs
